Saturday 12, September 2009, has Nykoebing F. KarateCenter the pleasure off inviting all who trains traditional karate to the 20. SydhavsCup, Nykoebing Falster Denmark. SydhavsCup is a contest for children and youth up to the age of 17 years. Invitation/entryform (in zip format)

Categories  

When you make the registration, give the name of the competitor, female or male, the age, the grade, and then place an x in the field kata and/or in the field kumite. There is no need to give the categories, but remember all the other information.

Competition list

After the last date for registration, you will receive by E-mail the starting lists. If you find any errors, you can give a notice of these errors and they will be fixed. 1-2 days before the competition, you will receive the final lists. The list will also be published on the web site www.sydhavscup.dk.

Rules

We will use 6 match area’s size 6x6 or 8x8 m. There will be mats on the floor.
Every category is fought to the end, and medals given at the tatami.
There is no repecharge, we use two 3. Places.
We follow the WKF rules with the following exceptions.

Kata competition

10. kyu – 6. kyu only needs to perform one kata.
5. ho – dan must at least use two different katas. One kata must never be shown twice in a row.
Shitei kata can be used, but it is not mandatory. Every kata in a style is allowed.

Kumite competition

The fighting time is 2 min, except for the age group -9 years, which is 90 sec.
In the age group until 9 years, attack against the head is not allowed.
From age 10, leg and foot protectors is mandatory.
Female chest protectors are not mandatory, but recommended

Payment

15 euro/competitor. You pay pr. club at the registration. Only one person from each club is needed at the registration.

Registration

The last date for making entries to the competitions is Saturday the 5. of September.
Because off the size off this competitions, (Last year: 520 competitors with 760 starts) we will ask you to use the spreadsheet you can find at www.sydhavscup.dk. Fill in this spreadsheet and send it by e-mail to pl@ceus.dk.
